Prior to coming to practice at the Spokane Eye Clinic in 1985, Dr. LeClaire completed his medical training in Massachusetts. Attending Harvard University, one of the most prestigious schools in the nation, for both his undergraduate and medical degrees, Dr. LeClaire accomplished a rare feat of medical education by completing his residency in ophthalmology at the |
| Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, a hospital associated with Harvard Medical School. He then stayed on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in disease of the retina. He specializes in diabetic eye disease, flashes and floaters, retinal detachment, and diseases of the macula including macular hole, premacular fibrosis, and macular degeneration. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Washington State Academy of Ophthalmology and the Aspen Retinal Detachment Society. |
