Dr. Maher is especially concerned with the special ophthalmological needs of children. Just prior to joining the Spokane Eye Clinic team
in 1981, he worked on a one-year fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Indiana University Medical Center. He completed a residency at the Kresge Eye Institute of
Wayne State University and interned at Miriam Hospital in Providence, RI. A graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Maher brings a high level of dedication and experience to the
Spokane Eye Clinic staff. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Washington State Academy
of Ophthalmology, the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and the International Strabismological Association. |
