The Spokane Eye Clinic hosted a successful education workshop, Fall Ophthalmology Update, on Oct. 9. The event drew 130 participants, including area optometrists and ophthalmic personnel as well as Spokane Eye Clinic employees.
Spokane Eye Clinic Drs. Day, Colburn and Guglielmo led courses on cataract and glaucoma management, infantile glaucoma and mechanisms of vision loss in diabetes, respectively. Guest speaker Dan Simonson, CRNA, presented about the principles of asepsis.
The workshop gave eye care professionals throughout the region the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.
