Spokane Eye Clinic is a proud sponsor of Camp Stix, an independent, community-based, summer camp for children and teens with diabetes throughout the Northwest.
The camp is held at Bear Paw Camp and Retreat Center on the Pend Oreille River near Newport, Washington. Camp Stix offers a one-week program for youth ages 8-18.
Diabetes is a serious condition that can affect the eyes. It is the leading cause of visual impairment in the United States among patients below the age of 50.
