Eric S. Guglielmo, MD
Dr. Guglielmo joined the Spokane Eye Clinic in the fall of 2010. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Guglielmo received a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Georgia and taught school in rural Alaska for four years.
After completing his pre-med courses at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Dr. Guglielmo attended the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine, graduating with Honors in 2005. While there he received numerous awards including election to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
He completed his Residency in Ophthalmology at the Dean McGee Eye Institute at the University of Oklahoma, and his fellowship in vitreo-retinal diseases and surgery at West Virginia University.
Dr. Guglielmo's professional areas of interest include management and treatment of diabetic eye disease, retinal detachment, macular degeneration, macular membranes macular hole and the management of uveitis.
He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Christian Ophthalmology Society. He enjoys outdoor activities with his family including backpacking and cycling.
