Nicole K. Brandt, MD

 Dr. Brandt joined Spokane Eye Clinic in 2009. Prior to her arrival in Spokane, Dr. Brandt graduated from the University of California Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. After college, she spent several years performing and publishing vision research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
A Wisconsin native, she returned to the Midwest and earned her Medical Degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago. She was awarded honors and elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.


She then completed Ophthalmology Residency at the University of California San Diego and served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Brandt continued her education at UCSD where she completed her fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Brandt has published research in the field of ophthalmology and has presented at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology annual meetings. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.


Dr. Brandt’s professional interests include diagnosis and treatment of corneal and external eye diseases, corneal transplantation, small incision cataract surgery, advanced technology intraocular lenses, and laser vision correction (LASIK & Advanced Surface Ablation/PRK).


Dr. Brandt’s and her family take advantage of the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest as much as possible. Her personal interests include skiing, camping, hiking, boating and Gonzaga Basketball.
