Sheila A. Wadhwa, O.D.


Dr. Wadhwa received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Gonzaga University in 2003. She then attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, OR, receiving her Doctor of Optometry Degree in May of 2007.

Following completion of her degree, Dr. Wadhwa completed an ocular disease and hospital based residency program at the Spokane VA Medical Center. During her residency she received an Excellence in Glaucoma Management Award from the Optometric Glaucoma Society.

She completed her residency in 2008 just prior to joining the staff of Spokane Eye Clinic.

Dr. Wadhwa's passion is to provide quality comprehensive eye exams with an emphasis on geriatric eye disease including glaucoma, diabetes, and age-related macular degeneration, also, Ocular Surface diseases including dry eye and eye infections.

Certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, Dr. Wadhwa is a Member of the American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry. Her personal interests include traveling, outdoor water sports, basketball and golf.
