Emergency Care
Hours and Location of Appointments
Welcome to the Spokane Eye Clinic Triage Department. Our triage Optometric Doctors are available to provide eye exams to treat urgent or emergent eye care needs. Our triage coordinators accept phone calls from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and same day appointments are available during the day, Monday through Friday until 3:00 p.m. If our same day appointment schedule is full for the day, our triage team will determine if a patient can safely be scheduled the following day or later, and if we are unable to schedule a patient, s/he may be referred to a hospital emergency department or urgent care center.
If you are experiencing an urgent or emergency eye problem outside of these hours, after 5:00 p.m. or on weekends or holidays, you should proceed to a hospital emergency department or urgent care center, depending on the severity of your condition. This service is not a substitute for a life-threatening emergency. If you feel you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1.
We have four clinic locations, and the location of your appointment will be based on the location of our triage doctor(s) for that day.
