Dr. Bodhireddy joined the Spokane Eye Clinic in September 2015. He completed a glaucoma and cataract/anterior segment fellowship at the Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City after serving as chief resident in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University, where he also received his medical degree and graduated summa cum laude. Dr. Bodhireddy spent three years in El Paso, TX during his medical training, and has participated in outreach efforts to Honduras, the Navajo Nation, and Guatemala. These experiences allow him to customize his approach to patient care, as everyone’s healing patterns are different.

Dr. Bodhireddy specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. He offers suture-less cataract surgery, medical and laser therapy for glaucoma, as well as minimally invasive and traditional glaucoma surgery, depending on the patient’s needs. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and he had the privilege to work on several cutting edge investigations and book chapters with his mentors.  He became ABO board certified in July 2016.

Dr. Bodhireddy enjoys spending time with his wife, baby boy, and dog. He has fun playing the guitar and attending concerts, as well as going to the gym and training with the speed rope. He is conversant in medical Spanish, and he enjoys learning about different cultures. He and his family look forward to enjoying the beauty of the Inland Northwest.
